Cops blame 3 Bangkok blasts on Iranian

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57377188/cops-blame-3-bangkok-blasts-on-iranian/

Three explosions ripped through a busy neighborhood in Bangkok on Tuesday, wounding four Thai civilians and blowing off the legs of a foreigner whom police blamed for the violence.

Police Col. Warawut Taweechaikarn, a senior officer in the district, said the wounded foreigner was Iranian

Along with an aborted attack in Tblisi and a minor attack in India, this failed attack may be what is part of an Iranian retaliation for the recent assasination strategy employed by Israel. At first glance they appear to be prettty minor, no truck bombs or bombs inside Israel itself. Two things could be possible, maybe even both at the same time:
1) Iran has decided to respond in kind to Israel, meaning that they will emply roughly the same amount of violence used against it.
2) Using Hamas or Hezbollah to retaliate from Lebanon/Palestine is either too risky at this point or the two have declined to cooperate.
