The Human Turd marches on. What started as an honest scam and book tour has turned into a national debate on contraception that will haunt the GOP for years. While they had a bead on Obama and were ready to talk economics, along came a man who could not resist wading time after time into the culture wars and insisted America return to 1962. Here is a man that has said the state has a right to ban contraception, which he also thinks is a very bad thing by the way, that academia and the 'mainline' Protestant sects were already under the sway of "Satan", and that women should not work outside of the home and if they did it was only to buy more things for their kids, which is also very bad. He has insisted that abortion is wrong even in cases of rape or incest, even though he and his wife induced labor at 20 weeks for their own child, which soon died, a case which fits his definition of abortion.

The fact is that not enough people are losing their gourds over the fact that two of the front runners in the Republican primary are Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. That is the very definition of bankrupt.
