Romney said in 2007 that it was irresponsible for Barack Obama to say that he would authorize a raid into Pakistan to kill Osama bin Laden without alerting Pakistan first, which is exactly how bin Laden ended up in the drink. Now, of course, he says would authorize that attack and singling out Obama over any other guy who would have been president is unfair, Romney argues. Any president would have done that, he says.
