Romney leads Obama

This is the GOP coalescing around Romney after the eight month circus that we endured just to end up where we were in the first place: a moderate posing as an arch-conservative, hated by most of his own party.

Will this last? Tough to say. Romney is Obama's toughest opponent, given the choices, but he is also weakened tremendously by his party's months long tantrum about having to nominate him. I think tight now a lot of the people that had rejected him are surrendering to the inevitability, leading to these higher poll numbers for Romney.
