Iran shows film of captured US drone - James Reynolds

High-flying and hard to detect, America's RQ-170 Sentinel plane is the perfect stealth drone for peering into another country's secret sites without being caught.

This was apparently a spy drone, not a Predator-stlye strike drone. The article points out that it was probably relaying footage of Iran's nuclear sites to US naval forces when it went down. It looks fairly intact, so it must have been mechanical malfunction that took it to the ground.
