Poll: Conservatives embrace Romney - MJ Lee

You know, if you tell people you're not going to be fooled again, you should probably wait until sometime after literally the very next guy to abandon that credo.

Mitt Romney is acceptable in a lot of ways, unacceptable in many others, but of all of the people that he should be unacceptable to under any circumstances is conservatives, who've told us for three years that Mitt Romney is, well, unacceptable. I disagree with what conservatism has become, more about culture war than actual conservatism, but let's examine Mitt's conservative credentials:
* Pro-gun control
* Pro-choice (I think he fought for tax payer funded abortions while governor)
* Gay friendly
* Global warming believer
* Supported TARP
* The spiritual godfather of Obamacare
* Raised taxes
* Isn't a Protestant

Conservatives emnbrace Romney? More like "conservatives show how easy they are to manipulate...still"?
