Romney secures front-runner status with New Hampshire win, looks to take momentum into South Carolina

The only interesting thing left to see is how Newt's kamikaze run will play in the South, being that it is a perfect Democratic attack.

Mitt won 38% of the vote, about what McCain won, so it's not an overwhelming victory. He should have won more since he governed right next to New Hampshire and owns a home there, but the fact is that he has won the first two primaries and Santorum was drowned, even with voters for whom abortion was a very important issue. Mitt cruised and even if South Carolina provides a glitch where he finishes second, Florida is there to put him over the top.
