Pet theory as to why there is no "Google Kids": Silicon Valley is insular, inwardly focused and obsessed with itself. It is also populated with tons of people that are single, and have little use or time for things that some suburban mom would find useful or fun. This also explains why most of their shit flops. The things that do well (Facebook, Windows, Groupon, Netflix) are things families use. The things that flop, aren't.
