This is a mess. This has about a year to go, or more, before it ends ugly. Obama was really boxed in between allowing the face of terrorrism in the 80s freely flaunt the Western world and a humanitarian disaster broadcast live, the alternative being that no one would do anything. The French and the Italians should be in the lead but would not have acted without the US doing something first. Obama blew it by dipping a toe and not setting expectations right. The best thing that will happen as a result of this is that Qaddafi will be dead. He won't be leaving Libya alive after this and will no doubt be murdered by someone wearing a uniform Qaddafi paid for.
