Michele Bachmann Grabs GOP Presidential Debate Spotlight - Howard Kurtz

http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2011-06-13/michele-bachmann-for-president-2012-she-grabs-nh-gop-debate-spotlight/

Many people think of Bachmann and Sarah Palin as cut from the same cloth, but beyond their obvious similarities as outspoken conservative women, they are distinctly different. Bachmann, a decade older at 55, had a career as a tax lawyer and is well versed in the finer points of legislation. She is not only a third-term House member but spent a half-dozen years before that in the Minnesota Senate.

It will be interesting to see where this ride takes her. I think it is unfair to her that she is always mentioned in the same sentance as Sarah Palin; Bachmann has at least put some thought into her positions, for all their faults and even if they are garnered to gain her attention. I don't see this working out, her positions are too radical and she is way too preachy, and I think the VP position is out of the question too. "Hot and vacuous" had its shot last time.

Also, sorry to be unfair to Bachmann and mention her along with Palin, but the more attention that goes to Bachmann the less that goes to Palin. It's unfair, but true. (And yes I hope Palin does something stupid in response!)
