As Yemen lurches toward civil war, and not neccesarily the Arab Spring kind of war where liberal democracy faces autocracy down, it's unsettling to contemplate that the guys we are more or less forced to root for are clearly the inept and corrupt. I don't automatically cringe at rooting for the corrupt, but the inept part has me worried. We essentially depend on the Keystone Kops to keep this place in order. That's not a good sign.
