Sarah Palin Has Her Own American History - Amanda Marcotte

http://www.doublex.com/blog/xxfactor/sarah-palin-has-her-own-american-history

This is a fascinating theory that Ms Marcotte comes up with: in her mind Sarah Palin isn't wrong because Sarah Palin wasn't really talking about Paul Revere. She was describing, in her own confused way, the way she imagines the Tea Party defending America. Because none of it is really based in fact, by her definition it can't be incorrect, so she can't be wrong.
Further, those that take her message closest to their hearts are probably not too clear on what happened there either, so they don't mind if she got a snippet or two incorrect here and there. What counts to them is that she was attacked by a "gotcha question" posed the elite media which is composed of the kids that were smarter and ruder in high school than they were, hence Sarah was right.
