While the charges of sexual harassment won't kill him with conservatives, the feeling of chaos and general absurd-ness will. His inconsistencies and backtracks and outright craziness have been writ large in this latest scandal, in the midst of which he professed that China did not yet have nuclear weapons, and I think those things are pulling him down rather than any allegations.

Further, there was the misstep he made in blaming the scandal on 'racism' and them blaming Rick Perry. In effect he was calling Rick Perry a racist and lost a lot of conservative support, as even the PR hacks  couldn't help him at that point.

This latest scandal has an Act Two, when the accounts start to come out and start to conflict with his version.
