Ginger White accuses Herman Cain of a 13-year affair - Rachel Weiner and Aaron Blake

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/post/herman-cain-reveals-a-woman-to-accuse-him-of-a-13-year-affair/2011/11/28/gIQAxnPu5N_blog.html

I can see how Herman Cain ran for President, knowing all this stuff was out there: he was never really running for President. He was on a book tour and happened to encounter the weirdest bunch of candidates since, well, ever (1996 was pretty odd I suppose). For a book tour, why would it matter if he had affairs in the past? For a book tour, what would it matter (to his fans) whether he had ever sexually harassed anyone, or whether accusations of sexual harassment would be plausible? It didn't matter because he was a guy that was on the radio who wanted to elevate his stature, and then this happened. He became an actual Candidate, and then it was too late to let people know that there were a lot of holes in the boat. Anyway, as much of an idiot as he is, he was not an idiot in the sense he didn't reveal all of this earlier.
