Much to the chagrin of Mitt Romney, rumors of Perry's death were greatly exaggerated. It seems he is making the rounds of the talk shows, refashioning his image and introducing himself to people that, he hopes, have no idea what all the debate controversy is about. He might be right. A lot of people are just somewhat aware of him making some sort of mistake, or something like it. The momentousness of the gaffe is lost on them, for the most part because the right wing media is taking it easy on him and they haven't seen the actual "oops" moment with their own eyes. Further, as his target audience is no fan of the media, they are perhaps more eager to believe that he was "framed" and that his mistakes prove him to be human.
